    I don't harbor any ill will for Jones but I've battled the HIT Jedi several times.
    I think when I started in science I thought everyone had ideas that aligned with the evidence and were subject to change with new evidence. I found later that everyone, including me, has biases and prior intellectual commitments that influence how we appraise evidence. That's why critical thinking is so interesting to me, especially in the context of reliable quality evidence...

      I find HIT like applications in conditioning and performance useful in certain dimensions, Esp with regards to energy systems, random demand, whole body performance. While these dimensions were entirely lacking in the traditional Bigger, Faster, Stronger and body building programs (which got mistaken for strength and conditioning) of the 80's and 90's. does not mean that other more traditional dimensions should be entirely avoided.
