Please excuse my ignorance, I was unaware of dycem, I have a red palm print on my face.
What thickness dycem is best?

Rick, I've got to ask: What possible difference could the thickness of the material make?
Since I haven't used it (or seen it) I don't know. But my assumption is that if it is too thick it won't be as pliable and may interfere with contact feedback. If it is too thin it may not last as long and be more subject to tearing. My thinking at this point is for it to be as thin as possible. I don't know what the options are. I may try using TheraBand until I can get some dycem.

I called Dycem directly and ordered from them. The original is the thinnest at 1/32" or .6 mm.
I ordered blue as it must work better because that is what Diane uses in the video.
I am expecting this to be a wonderful addition to my treatment by being able to provide traction with less pressure as well as being able to better modulate traction and pressure. I am embarrassed that I didn't think of using something like this before, never entered my thought process, or if it did, didn't find a place to roost.

Don't worry, it never occurred to me until just a couple years ago, when I found myself working in a facility that has an OT, was able to fool around with a couple available pieces, and saw the potential.
It works exactly like that - lets you lengthen skin without digging in. Saves your hands. If you have small hands, like mine, lets you get a grip on large heels, and slippery dry skin.

I may have asked this somewhere else, but I can't find the thread --- and, I can't recall the answer. How do you clean it (the Dycem) between clients/patients?
Thanks so much for being kind enough to put the videos up. I really appreciate being able to see the work. I hope someday there will be an opportunity for me to attend a class.

I have made a Deep Relaxation Massage Music Pandora Station and have others that may also be useful - about 8 massage music stations and about 49 other nifty options.
