Max,

I was sort of kidding. My "colleagues" quickly grow fearful of any therapy talk that does not include complete submission to their opinions and stories of their experience that include interpretations that have little or nothing to do with reality.

Of course, they never read so they have to make reality up as they go along. Someone like me is quickly marginalized. Where I'm working now a couple of the staff refer to me as "the professor."

It's an insult.

Barrett, I'm sorry, the tone of your post didn't resonate with me apparently, thanks for clarifying!
Quite apart from the meso-/ectoderm conflict, I've also encountered this notion of anti-discussion among peers in all types of situations.
Funily, some peers I have had discussions with (about manual techniques, approaches or scientific background) have just moved their goalposts right along during the discussion.
In the end, they feel like they were right all along and the whole potential of learning and improving (on both sides) seems diminished.

Ecto=process of building with them; mortar-making, waiting until it's ready, timing of trowelling thereof.

Meso=Are they lined up straight?
Ecto=Were they laid and lined with care and minimalist finess, at the right time with optimal mortar?

Yesterday Nick wrote in post #4 of the “time machine” thread that he’d spent what little time he had for lunch listening to the Paris interview.

I feel fairly certain that his co-workers are thrilled to work beside someone so engaged with the work – not.
