If you can swing a teaching gig in Vancouver I will move heaven and earth to get there! I can't financially manage a trip to Quebec but Vancouver?....Heck, I would swim across "the moat" between Vancouver Island and the mainland to learn from you.

I think I'll have to pass by your neck of the woods, Diane (and Barrett's as a matter of fact) when I'm in North America next time, in hopes of maybe getting some hands on instruction from you guys (or just the possibility of shadowing).
This is truly intriguing stuff and trying them out on fellow students has been a very interesting experience...

Edit: Have you ever done workships overseas, as in Europe?

I've been in London, but not to teach. Several invitations have not panned out. Maybe one day I'll get one that does.

I seem contractually obligated to avoid speaking to other therapists about therapy wherever I have worked. Talking about our relatives, shopping and food is encouraged however.

Was this a contract specific to your persona or a general peculiarity of your employers?

I was sort of kidding. My "colleagues" quickly grow fearful of any therapy talk that does not include complete submission to their opinions and stories of their experience that include interpretations that have little or nothing to do with reality.

Of course, they never read so they have to make reality up as they go along. Someone like me is quickly marginalized. Where I'm working now a couple of the staff refer to me as "the professor."

It's an insult.
