Default Palpating nerves

Im starting to discover the nerves in my own body. Nobody ever told what a nerve feels like in my massage education. Not even when I did my medical education did anyone speak about the possibility of palpating nerves on the body.

Im wodering if people here can explain more about how nerves feels like under your fingers? Maybe share some good spots to palpate nerves?

I just discovered my medial antebrachail nerve in my biceps. It feels like its full of beads like a necklace. Could that be the schwann cells? Are they so big that they can be palpated?

A Butler class was the first place I ever learned what nerves feel like.
They feel like banjo strings sometimes. Front of the elbows and back of the knees and behind the inside ankle are good spots.

No. And no. The "beads" might be something else, cannot be Schwann cells.

Oh how I feel like Ive been fooled... why havent anyone taught me anything about nerves? I allways thought it was ligaments I felt, but could never figure out what ligaments they where.

I just started reading the Neurodynamic Techniques. That little flip-book contains most of what Ive been missing out on
