Hi SomaSimplers,
I needed to remove this feature, for now, but am searching for a such thing.
Here is a way to limit the viewed topics at your will:
1/ click on the New Posts link
2/ longer but better
click on the user CP link
You'll see a menu Edit Options
Go to the thread option on the right page
And choose your option in the menu
Thus, you'll see only the topics you desired at each connection
(See the pictures below)
