View Full Version : Hand over Head Position .
Hi all;
In cases of pain surrounding upper third of arm lateral and posterlateral aspects , The Patient puts his hand over the head , when I ask them they say , this more relaxed .
NOT reasonable for me , of course this is related to off-tension on certain nerve , which i do not know.

Take it that it releases tension in all three, more so for radial and median. perhaps.
It's great for doing cervical mobs etc as the position also improves cervical ROM.
Same thing with shoulders elevated, in sitting or lying.

ULTT 1,2,3 are negative with this Doctor , he is my friend Neurlogist , referr to me most of my neur consumers , i got nervous when i coud not help him and then i put that topic on Rubish regarding pain .
We were sitting together , i assessed only the ULTT 1,2,3 t find them negative , but i noticed that he feels no pain when he puts his hand over his head taking the following ;
abduction , elbow flexion , pronation hanging it with his opposie hand .
This position I noticed to be taken by more than consumer i met before .
I felt his cervical region is free , but i will visit him soon , he asked me about his cervical to check it , but he is so older than me (55) , so that i can not deal with him as real patient .
