Hi all:

a 16 years girl went under an operation to remove a lipoma was in here right axilla since about 3 months .Then she felt like tension attacks through all her upper limb , this begains from under axilla and diffuse to all the upper limb at the begining may come once daily.

After that she visited a doctor complaining about that pain , the doctor told her , if that pain does not respond to drugs he will refeeer her to physiotherapy , and she gonna her house , her family and her mother told her to flex and extend her elbow as possible to control that pain and avoid neglecting her upper limb as they see.they aslo asked her to share in house activities to go on /accomodate her operated upper limb to her house demands and activities , she proceeds saying the pain was increasing with every activity i do.

Following that , i received her to listen /hear all that hisotory and her pain and tension attacks describing , then i begain to assess her upper limb revealed the following:

ULTT  i could not complete the test because of pain , al pain ,all painful

Neck motions  referr some pain to the upper limb

Intial treatement i described
in the first day

sling for upper limb , relaxation , told her that pain may increase because of my examination process and i warned her saying we can not do any elecro therapy because pain will increase.

second day
the following day after i assessed her
I was not in the Hospital , a Senior physiotherapist in the departement saw her , asked the nurse to apply Ultrasound therapy at the site of the operation for 5 minutes.

The 7th day

She came to me telling me about the second day after she went back to her house , that pain increased dramatically extend to neck and scapula , she weeped , cried .......until she tought of suicide , saying I hoped of dying and not experiencing that day with that pain and tension attacks.

I said to her i can not help you , i told you we can not apply electro therapy , why you came back and asked for electro therapy , i was so angry , replying i will not deal with her .

The 10 th day

she came back again saying i was wrong , i had to believe you but my brother was the cause , i agreed to go on again .

I taught her how to relax .............

i will contuine the case then my friends

Hi all ;

Back to that case, I taught her how to relax , to put pillow behind her putting it in front of her , over it the upper limb affected .

she came back saying , i am more better , the pain as it was before that ultrasound applying .

The main complaint , after the operation she feels something attacts /tension her begins from the axilla extending to the upper limb , this is like attack could occur 3 times daily .
Do you suggest any manageet for that consumer
