Hello!

I am a Portuguese physiotherapist currently seeking for registration at the HPC. Meanwhile, I am looking for a job in the UK as a physiotherapy assistant or other that suit my qualification and experience.

I have answered several job advertisements, but I got no response.
So I ask if any of you could help me, leting me know of any opportunity that you may know of.

Thank you.

Hi Pedro and welcome on SomaSimple,

I saw your post on Physiobase and it's a pity that nobody replied to it yet. SomaSimple does not offer a job forum because it is simply sharing knowledge and experience. It is certainly a good idea to add one. (Well we'll begin the new forum with your post 8) ).

By the way, I know that our board is often seen by our English members and guests. Hope your post there will help you to find a job and contacts.

Hello!

there are several english tests accepted for international applicants, but I recommend the TOEIC because it is the easiest. the IELTS requires a 7 overall score with no element below 6,5. it is difficult in deed for those who don't speak english fluently.

you have all the information in the site:
http://www.hpc-uk.org/apply/index.htm

Hi P;

Have you got the English required standard/score ?

I have entered ielts 3 times , the last time i got overall 6 , 6.5 listening , 6 reading , 6 writing , 6 speaking .

I believe ielts is very bad Test , it hinder me from going on through the registration process in an English-speaking Country .

cheers

Hi E!

I got a 7 overall but I had a 6 in speaking! :( So I tried the TOEIC and it is very easy, I am sure you can do it! it has no interview nor writting, just multiple answer questions!!! you must have 810 out of 990. I got 935.

take a look at the site I gave you. it explaines everything.

luck
