Sorry my friends to write about that topic , i was thinking of saying in a topic Happy new year , we can not pass that event without feeling their sadness , even today the event extend to reach Yamen and Somal .

Earthquake registered 9 magnitude( Richter Scale ) in Pacific Ocean , soaring number of dead , even every hour the number jumping up by 1000 /hour :arrow: Disaster ,unbelivable , unpredicted , unexpected :arrow: saddy times there !!

Ah Ah Ah
When i think of that registered 9 ( Richter Scale)and imagine the previous quakes i felt of no more than 5.5 magitude , i feel how we are human beings needy .

Moreover, the attacked areas are poor areas , they were not even able to bear circumstances of their governments , and the Nature attacked them to double more their sufferings .

The disaster forced me to write !

All what i hope , those dead people lie in peace from our world , i hope for them did not experienced pain /suffering in the moment of passing between here and there ? :cry:

The situation is devastating. Last count, 23,000 killed. Money is pouring into the red cross.

Indeed, one of the worst natural disasters, exceeding the death toll for the Iran quake a short while ago.

We do live in a tinder box; with 10 super-volcanoes around the world and all active, plus a potential mountain slide in the Canary Islands...

We are lucky to live on this planet by virtue of chance (right conditions for an evolutionary process) and generally we are fortunate that disasters do not happen more often.

So, emad, think of us as people living in a half-full glass, rather than half empty! Time is not really running out for us - nothing much has changed in the past million years, and despite ice ages and massive volcanic eruptions - we are still here. We should be glad for that fact.

Emad,

Since the beginning of Man Time, there is such events sent by Mother Nature to recall us some humbleness.

We ever live near dangerous monsters called seas, oceans and volcano. They bring us, life and death, at the same time. It is the endless cycle of life. It is not a rich/poor affair but a tribute we have to pay for continuing to reach a better life.

We need to live near seas and volcano, they provide easily food with a minimal transportation but this minimal effort is carried with a huge risk for inhabitants of these areas.

Many of us are unconscious? of these dangers because it is a fate and nothing may change this. We accept the deal and hope it will not fall on us. Life is a game and many lose, few win a bit of wisdom.

Hi Diane ,Nari & Bernard ;

yes ,really a disaster .

Nari ;
it is more effective than Iran last quake , as the Media takes the chance to report ,Iran is a close country , we did not see what occured their ,however around 30.000 died painfully there.

I believe the whole region in Asia &Africa are lucky ,because the Center of this current Quake was in Pacific Ocean ,but not in land .

Dinae :

try to imagine the numbers of aids the political leaders spoke about ,Australia announced ealryer presenting 10 millions , The USA was in ashamed postion getting out saying we will present 15 millions , The Euopean Union will present 30 millions , compare so !!!

Bernard :
Seems living in this Earth Planet is great Risk .

So painful to see corpses like that , today i heared the number of dead climbed darmatically to 44 ;000 .

Ah ,who knows the exact number , as i see some governments are closed minded ,do not want to speak honesly about numbers .
