Here is a link to a blog series I've made, based on a short paper I've written for (and which has been accepted for publication by) Orthopaedic Division Review in Canada: Microglia and Pain: A Manual Therapy Perspective (http://neurotonics.blogspot.com/2008/08/microglia-and-pain-manual-therapy_492.html). There is more food for thought in the comment section in Part III.

I'm also going to put in a link here to the sticky thread Nervous System Basics (http://www.somasimple.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5844), which discusses microglia among other things, and which is linked to several groups of notes freely available.

Yesterday I received my copy of ODR, and was satisfied to see my article (http://neurotonics.blogspot.com/2008/08/microglia-and-pain-manual-therapy_492.html) in print. Funny feeling that - seeing something one has written, printed in a publication held together with staples, thinking that numerous people, thousands at least, are holding the same print publication, maybe even noticing the article, maybe even reading it, maybe even learning something. Bit of a rush, really (my first time ever getting anything published into anything that uses real paper; it's not a huge deal, but it's a start).
