hey! thanks for the link. i will listen at it carefully. i was searching medline a couple of weeks ago for info about energy drinks but havn't really what i was looking for. hopefully your link will enlight me a little bit more. i was wondering about the consequences of such drinks... does it really change something to the 'energy'; how much calories are in there... (here cafeine mg is written but the calories are not written on the can...); is there any risk taking those...(not just for cafeine abuse because of too much can in a day but for the accumulation of other molecules day after day etc); etc etc etc...
i drink too much coffee. just had a third baby. should i move to energy drink...!?

"should i move to energy drink...!?"
Watch out for guarana seed extract. It's a South American source for caffeine.
And if you've just had a third baby, maybe you need parental leave to catch up on your sleep. Enjoy the joys of parenthood!

Awhile ago there was news in a dutch physio newsgroup about drinking coffee in relationship with diabetes. The message was that drinking up to 5 cups of coffee a day "significantly" (I've not read the research, so can't decide) diminishes the chance of acquiring diabetes.
