I have not read thru the DNM threads so this may have been already mentioned........

I find it interesting that one can locate a painful area on the trunk and often times can go to the exact area corresponding to this spot on the opposite side of the body and negate the original pain spot.

This is done by providing a gentle skin tug on the second spot and while monitoring the first spot for lessening tenderness. Alter the skin tug in varying directions corresponding to a clock until you find the most effective line of direction.

Try it and let me know what you find.

I've noticed this Stuart, especially for lateral cutaneous nerves.

And the occipital nerve! Diane, you have given me the first and only technique I have ever found that effectively calms down the occipital nerve. Thank you. I see cranky ones every day.

Ditto the Occipital nerves! I also find the prone LFCN DNM to be very effective as well.
