I wrote up a few movement therapy ideas to teach to sign language interpreters at a presentation I was invited to give recently. I've decided to provide it here to anyone who would like to download it.

Diane,

I'd like to hand this out to patients immediately. It is very Feldenkrais-esque. Great job!

Thanks for this Diane. I'm looking forward to sharing this with my clients also.

I especially like your description of Corrective Movement and how you give a starting reference point. Interestingly, I gave a near identical Side Lying Arm Lengthener to an old client who was also under PT care. She later came back with instructions from her PT not to do the lengthener and I was never sure as to why. I use a variety of these types of movements too and I call them "movement explorations" rather than exercise. I also suggest that my clients let instinctive corrective movement come out of the explorations if they are so inclined. Don't you think these Feldenkrais types of movements may contain the characteristics of correction too? Does anybody know the difference between Hanna's and Feldenkrais's work?

Glad you fund this useful Chance, Erica, Sarah, Emad, Anders...
Hanna was a student of Feldenkrais, that's about all I know.
The PT in question was likely suffering the usual mesodermal illusions. :)
