A recent client...a woman in her late 20's with chronic neck pain (MRI shows disc degeneration, herniation, ligament damage etc) asked me about a Dr. Ongley. A friend referred her to a Dr. Milne Ongley who has been treating several members of the US men's ski team. I am wondering if any of you have heard of him? He works out of Mexico because his license has been revoked in both New Zealand and the U.S. Here are some clips from his website...
"From Cyriax’s work, Dr. Milne Ongley was able to build and streamline a diagnostic method without parallel. Cyriax’s contribution was to codify orthopaedic problems. Dr. Milne Ongley returned to New Zealand and developed a treatment method which addresses the patient’s true problem. This technique has been in use for over 55 years with clinical study results published in the prestigious British Journal, The Lancet, in 1987.
The key to success for the patient who comes to visit The Ongley Institute resides in two essential components. The first is a functional physical examination. The second is adequate treatment by way of injection. This is done by linking the greatest of accuracy, together with the minimally invasive route of injection, so as to deliver medication exactly where it is needed."
I am wondering why his licenses have been revoked, and why, if his treatment is so wonderful, there isn't adequate information or documentation on it?
