What are the favorite phrases you use to explain pain and help patient with it?

A first I use very often.

Pain rarely intervene cruelly when you're moving. You'll be ever warned!

Use 1/2 effort to move.

The exercises are not the fix. Changing the way you move is the fix. The exercises are to help you with that.

Hi Bernard:

i have to say the i select words according:
patient ,s education level
culture
his ability to understand .
Age

So i think, i use different words ,with different patients.
When i use one word from one categroy to another , i return again to correct ,and use the apprpriate words.

i use that word differently from one patient to another.

Sometimes , there are patients do movement more vigrously ,more frequent ,so i have to warn them them from over activity.

The most frequent words i use ;

Move slowly,simply,in a relaxed manner.
