I've watched this clip at least 20 times and am still entranced. I hope this link (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/research/visible/mpeg/umd_video.mpg) works.

One of my patients is the head of radiology at a local hospital and I was lucky enough to be invited to see the new 64 head rotational CT scanner she just had installed. What these machines can do now is phenomenal. She took me flying inside the cerebral vasculature and the small intestine and down the labrynth of bronchii into the bronchioles. You can even draw curved axes through any region (like along the spinal canal) and then rotate around the tissue surface along the axis.

I loved it.
