Hello everyone ,
I have a question regarding the reahabilitation of a patient that just had a reconstruction of PCL and ACL ligaments. I know the initial aim is to decrease swelling and pain as well as increasing the range of movement. I know that we aim to increase weight bearing and increse hamstring and quadicepts control . But as this patient had both ligaments recontructed how do we follow a rehabilitation programme that will protect his ligaments ie when exercises are done for the ACL how do we protect the also recontructed PCL and vice versa
thank you
