I would like to solicit your opinions on the usefulness of electronic charting, using either a traditional or tablet pc. I think an obvious advantage would be the reduction in paper and need for storage space. The disadvanage I suppose would come from hardware malfunction and non-user-friendly software.
If you've already made the switch, what software do you use? What software would you recommend?

The aussies have already conducted a study on software called physiosphere here (http://ijahsp.nova.edu/articles/vol4num1/Barry.pdf#search=%22physiotherapy%20electronic%20charting%20software%20revi ews%22).

Cheers

Eric

And I developed my own programs that makes the job automatically (sorts/computes)... A lot of work but very interesting.
Delphi (http://shop.borland.com/dr/sat5/ec_Main.Entry17C?SID=39696&SP=10023&CID=0&PID=772647&PN=1&V1=772647&CUR=840&DSP=&PGRP=0&ABCODE=&CACHE_ID=0) I owns a old 6 verion of the software (but it works fine). BTW, it is very expensive.

I asked the CPA if they recommend or have reviewed any software. They haven't, but did provide me with a list of possible vendors.
Please understand I am not listing these here to promote any of them. Just as a resource for anyone who's interested.
