I really am enjoying visiting this link. I've gone through it three times now, and every time, more parts of my mind think they are starting to understand what he's saying. So far I'm leaning toward the sensorymotoricblendedperception hypothesis, because it's a natural fit with manual therapy. :) We become the environment that the patient perceives as affecting their body, but another part of their brain responds by incorporating the "incoming" as neutral (if we're careful) and not reacting to it, just blending it in as normal. Then normalizing output. OK, needs more work, I know..
