Evidence-based practice: Just a 21st century health care buzzword or the optimal practice model for now and the future?
We at Evidence in Motion are committed to making it the latter by partnering with the physical therapy community along the journey.
Evidenced-based practice (EBP) is the "conscientious, explicit, and judicious use of current best evidence in making decisions about the care of individual patients."1 Because of the exponential explosion of evidence supporting physical therapist practice (hence the name, "Evidence in Motion"), it is difficult for any of us individually to stay abreast of current best evidence, but collectively we can make a difference!
At Evidence in Motion, we are dedicated to continually remaining abreast of the peer-reviewed research that can improve your level of confidence in the examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and intervention skills required daily in musculoskeletal clinical practice. We are committed to providing physical therapists with evidence-based resources and training. In doing so, our products and services will:

http://www.evidenceinmotion.com/images/smsw.gif Provide you with the necessary clinical examination and non-operative treatment psychomotor skills
http://www.evidenceinmotion.com/images/smsw.gif Provide you the skills and tools for marketing evidence-based practice to referral sources, 3 rd party payors, and your patients.
The end result? We will partner with you to make evidence-based practice a tangible reality in your clinical practice!
We are your one-stop source for evidence-based practice.
