1/ treatments are based on theories that are incongruent with anatomical or physiological function.
2/ treatment is said to be effective for a broad range of diagnose.
3/ no adequately controlled studies in peer-reviewed journals.
4/ therapies that have an emotional appeal, and studies that fail to confirm their effectiveness are attacked.
5/ treatments are incapable of causing harm.

These phrases characterize a non standard therapy. I must suppose that a non standard therapy is not really well seen by the standard knowledge.

1/ All these statements discard global therapies. But if a global therapy is really effective could we affirm that it is contradictory to efficiency or scientific theories?

By the way, somatics and others global therapies could very quickly find arguments for all statements?
