Does the computer speed affect the web /Internet access speed ?

What are you recommendations , regarding computer speed.

Not directly. If your access is < 56Kb/s a common computer (1.5 GHz) will make the job.

If you have an high speed access, dsl > 512 Kb/s then the computer memory is important but surely more the graphic card.

A good PC needs 1.8 GHz and 512 Mb/RAM and 128Mb graphic card.
A very good one is 3 GHz, 1 Gb/RAM, 256 Mb graphic card.
