Hi Somasimplers,

I'm trying since a week the firefox browser. It works finer than Miscrosoft Explorer.

It seems better than Netscape.

If you're using FireFox as browser, this link speed it up. I'm using it and all is working fine!

I love it! Been using it for over a year. Everything opens in tabs for me. Control T opens a new one if I need it to access google, etc while browsing SomaSimple.

I have used firefox and safari for a few years, together at the same time. It has sped up my onife life by quite a bit, having two screens open at once.

I added Zotero (http://www.zotero.org/) about a year ago. Unfortunately, it seems complicated and I don't like it or use it much. I've got Leopard and google desktop to help me find papers, which are stuffed everywhere.

Something else I love about firefox is how it remembers my passwords so I don't have to.

One thing I love about Firefox on Mac is that you can keep dozens of tabs open at the same time and if you force qiut the program when you shutdown, upon reopening it restores your previous session exactly, without having to run back through your history and open pages you hadn't finished with.

Diane,

I'm curious why you work with windows from 2 different browsers at the same time instead of, say, 2 Firefox windows at once (or just multiple tabs).

I can be logged out on one and in on the other, without having to log in and out. Probably irrelevant, but makes sense to me.
I'll see if I can get more handy with the multiple windows thingy though.
