Hey Cory, fine to see you again!!!
I'm fine and living in such noisy neighbour areas. My Daugther is living, now, in Dijon and there is more problems.
Most of the violents riots were around Paris.
Our crazy Minister Sarkosy called all young poor people of "racailles" (riffraff) and they replied with violence!
Bernard :
Just moments before come online to see this topic , i was thinking of this issue to put topic , thanks cory , i hope bernard is safe , liking for france to come back to calmness.
yes, seems that word flare up the violance ,as media confrims usually ,however just moments they mentioned as they will deal with the issue strictly, the same principal .Seems ,there in France the presidental elections are coming soon , so that the political leaders shifted the whole issue to a political game .
Fire is going on there ,Bernard , i like to know if the religious factor is a main purpose .
Regards
Emad

Thanks Cory.
I saw a TV emission on the cable Sunday evening. It was objective in the way where they took the point of view of the two sides (cops and rioters).
Well, the conclusion is too bad. Government is manipulating media and population. They trained special cops (volunteers) to break/beat young people in these poor neighbours. The reaction is clear, injustice created a revolt!
We saw cops shoting without any advices some rioters but it wassaid some minutes later that they weren't! but they did receive the flashballs!!!
I believe the riots have spread to other European countries to a lesser extent.

thanks bernard for talking about noisy le grand... anyway i live and work very close from there (the next town...) and there was not so many trouble there..
i must admit there was trouble in some other places...
the media have spread oil on the burning fire.. the minister has said that some young people that were stealing and dealing drugs were "racaille" (riffraff) and it became on the media "the young people are ALL riffraff"...
french media likes sensationals and they got it..
trouble were caused by only a hundreds of people... not so much...
