Emad,

You seem to have a common lumbago. It is very umpleasant for sure.
The muscle spasm is the the thing that creates your problem.

Try abdominal breathing
try to roll slowly pelvis frontward (extension) and backward (flexion) in a sitting position. You have to understand that a reflex (muscle spasm) may be ruled out by brain since it is voluntary muscles.
Do not move in large manner but gain movement cm by cm
Pain is the thing that stops you to move but brain may override this normal behaviour.

What did you change in your sleeping habits?

thank you Bernard very much for your comments.

now , it is the end of my day , i went on through my work , i dealt with 2 patients .I visited on stroke patient in her house , however i was afraid of dealing with stroke patients as i have that pain .

I tried so much to control that pain using my brain , but was so difficult .

I changed my sleeping habits because of work and sitting to watch American movies .

Thanks Bernard , i feel more better now.

All my best wishes

Ice packs are a great neuromodulator too Emad.. They can diminish sharp pain considerably. I've been where you're at. Once. Couldn't get out of bed except on my hands and knees, crawled to the kitchen to get an ice pack, went back to bed and fell asleep on it. Woke up the next day, able to move once again. It took a few weeks, and I definitely needed treatment from a pair of skilled hands (a PT friend). But the ice pack permitted restorative sleep.

I was the same for me the first day I tried but a bit easier the second and takes 5 seconds now. Call me: Experience! :shade:

Diane,

Ice works great for some but other can't support it and creates more pain. I advice to use it only if it help but leave it in contrary.

Hi Bernard & Diane :

Now , I am free from pain , just very slight tightness feeling in the morning ,and when i remember the issue .

Regarding ,Ice packs , i do not think i can bear , i experinced before the painful feel of ice when i got hot water on my hand .

yes , i believe the brain and ability to relief muscle spasm intentially is very beneficially .

After i experienced that pain , i dealt very well with all my patients in painful complaints , i think the patient can not release that painful tension because of fear .

Regards

Emad

So true, Emad, so true!
But pain is a part of us and when we know it, it becomes a controllable thing.
