Hi all ;
I assessed one of my patients who had nerve injury , one of my routine examination , i do the Tinel ,s sign , it is a test to tap the any nerve at a site the nerve could be more sueprficial , for example the ulnar nerve behind the medial malliolus bone .
The following session i asked my consumer , what did you do in the last 2 days , he said i did the ex you asked me to , as well i did that tap to feel if there is the numbness still there or not .
So this advice will be to paitents to avoid of applying any testing procedures the physiotherapist d as ordinary examinations as thus could detiroriate the case .
